Intoo Outplacement Redundancy   HRC Group Logo       Leading Scottish consultancy, HRC Recruitment, has gone into partnership with London-based career services provider, INTOO. Both companies are excited to announce a new partnership for the Scottish market. HRC’s collaboration with INTOO – who have offices in the UK, Ireland and Italy – will offer practical advice to affected individuals and businesses in every sector across Scotland. Founded in 2016, INTOO are part of the Gi Group, one of the leading global providers in the field of Human Resources, with a presence in over 20 countries. The company has both UK and global expertise, and are happy to lend their proven approach and tools to HRC. Outplacement services, including CV writing and job interview preparation, are designed to support those employees who find themselves going through a redundancy consultation. Steven Ross, Operations Director at HRC Recruitment said: “Many recruitment organisations try to pivot into Outplacement when there is an economic downturn, but for HRC the move into broader HR consulting and support services began some time ago with the launch of several products, including the Back in Business returnship programme and our recruitment marketing product, Build your Brand. “The partnership with INTOO to provide career consulting and Outplacement was a logical next step that has been in the making for some months.” The current economic climate – fuelled by the Coronavirus lockdown – has seen Scotland’s unemployment rate rise by 3.5% from the previous quarter. In particular, those aged between 16 and 24 are said to be hardest hit by the lockdown measures. Since March, the number of Scots said to be looking for work is around 30,000. Owen Morgan, Managing Director at INTOO UK and Ireland said: “INTOO are thrilled to be partnering with HRC in Scotland, bringing the INTOO brand to a new region of the UK through a trusted and credible partner. Both businesses have built reputations on providing the highest quality of service and will be focused on delivering a personalised approach that makes a real difference to organisations and their employees” The partnership sees HRC widen their offering beyond recruitment services and provides INTOO with an introduction to the Scottish jobs market. Both Ross and Morgan were previously involved in the leadership of Penna Plc, which was the UK’s leading outplacement firm before its acquisition by the Adecco Group in 2016. Steven Ross added, “It is essential that companies don’t just take care of their people - whether that’s re-engaging those in the business after such a time of hardship, or supporting those people they have to let go to the best of their ability by providing Outplacement support to them – but that they also communicate to their market, customers and staff past present and future, exactly how they are supporting people through this difficult time. “There has never been a more pressing case for having a strong social media presence, with demonstrable results of the work you have been undertaking. Your employer brand is everything right now – especially as potential candidates or customers will be looking to see how your business has treated its people during this time. With our broad range of consultancy services, HRC is incredibly well placed to help.”
