Our Insurance team here at HRC Recruitment can pride itself in being the biggest and most experienced in Scotland. Heading up the team is our Associate Director, Christine Knox, who recently celebrated her fifteen year anniversary with the company. She began her HRC journey by coming in to register as a candidate; now she is responsible for our global, diverse Insurance client base. Christine is absolutely dedicated to her team and the market itself. She is a strong leader, able to share her wealth of experience with her colleagues, candidates and clients.
She has previously recruited for a number of market disciplines, including Commercial Underwriting, Broking, Business Development and Claims Handling positions. Having built her network from scratch, Christine is now in the position to head hunt for executive search appointments. Christine enjoys an excellent reputation within the market, particularly for her efficient standard of service.
Our Insurance team is also home to Principal Consultant, Stuart McKenna, who can also claim to be a HRC stalwart, having been with the business for almost seven years. His diverse client portfolio ensures that Stuart keeps up-to-date with industry developments and is as comfortable dealing with international businesses as he is with independent, local firms.
Stuart regularly reads up and writes about the very latest industry developments, constantly looking out for new laws or factors that may affect our clients or candidates. He is also a regular presence at industry events and is known for being able to offer highly insightful information about market trends and structure.
Joining Stuart as a fellow Principal is Elaine McCrink, who’s arrival at the business made our Insurance team the most experienced in Scotland. Elaine is known for her hands-on approach, her passion for the industry and her dedication to getting the best for both clients and candidates alike. Both Elaine and Stuart deal with a broad spectrum of roles across Scotland including Underwriting, Account Executives, Account Handlers, Claims Management, Compliance and Sales.
Elaine is also the driving force behind the Ladies of Insurance Lunch, an event that she has been co-ordinating and hosting in cities across Scotland for the past seven years. These lunches are always sell-outs and achieve a huge amount of charity fundraising for various deserving causes.
