Technical Support Analyst

Kilmarnock

Salary - £26,000 - £32,000

Would you like to work for a global leader in financial services and one of the nation’s largest buyers of debt accounts from reputable high-street banks and other institutions?

We are looking for a support analyst to join an experienced IT support team, you will work on cloud-based IT services and providing 1st/ 2nd line IT technical support to colleagues across UK offices.

You would cover 3 different shift plans, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm and 12pm - 8pm and every 3rd Saturday 8am - 2pm which can be worked from home.

What would my day look like?

  • Provide resolution of IT issues for end users within defined SLAs
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues incidents at first point of contact
  • Deploy and support end user devices
  • Keep end users updated on outstanding tickets
  • Support UK and Central IT projects activities
  • Ticket management
  • Keep end users updated on outstanding tickets
  • Follow Escalation procedures and work with 2nd & 3rd Line team members.
  • Ensure all calls emails are logged and managed within JIRA
  • Support a compliant IT estate
  • Work with 3rd party vendors\depts for ticket resolution
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organisational responsibility

What should you bring?

  • Good understanding of Windows 10
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving & analytical skills
  • Willing to travel to other PRA sites as needed
  • Records maintenance skills Desirable
  • Previous IT Service Desk experience
  • Experience with JIRA for incident management
  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Thin Client and VDI / WVD
  • Understanding of governance and risk in relation to the role, especially within a regulated environment
