Employment Senior Solicitor / Associate (2 – 5 years PQE+)
Delighted to be instructed on this Employment opening with a highly respected Employment Law practice in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing legal advice with a strong background in employment law. This role is open to those looking for full-time hours or 0.8 FTE.
You will be responsible for managing an extensive and varied existing client portfolio, delivering advice, assistance, and representation to clients of the firm. You will advise retained and ad hoc SME business clients on all facets of employment law including internal discipline and grievance proceedings, discrimination issues, unfair dismissal, redundancy and restructuring, contractual matters and TUP. This role will require you to work closely with other members of the team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of service.
To be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in law or related field, have 2-5 years PQE in employment law, have a strong knowledge or employment law procedures and regulations. You should be commercially aware and have an interest in business development.
