What does the day to day look like?

  • Implement the SHE strategy through the frontline coaching of all line managers and employees
  • Influence and engage with line managers and employees with an intent to challenge and change attitudes and behaviours related to SHE
  • Provision of competent, expert risk management and SHE advice to the business
  • Develop, implement, audit, and maintain SHE Policies and Standards
  • Problem resolution including formal incident/complaint investigation
  • Support the implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all existing and new SHE legislation
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments

Who are we looking for?

  • A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field - Desirable
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety
  • Experience in a senior SHE role, preferably within manufacturing or a similar industry
  • Proven track record of implementing SHE strategies and policies
  • Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
