Role Overview:

As the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning sales with operations to maximize efficiency and profitability. Reporting to the Head of Group Sales, you will be responsible for managing the central operations of our ERP system, maintaining pricing, and driving CRM adoption across our sales team. This role requires frequent travel within the UK and Ireland to support sales process implementation. This is a role encompassing Sales operational planning and back office data analysis.

What the day to day could look like:

  • Manage interfaces between sales and operations to align production and sales plans.
  • Collaborate with Production and Log Procurement teams to maximize sales, yield, and profits.
  • Develop and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret sales process data and drive data-driven performance.
  • Optimize the group-wide sales process, focusing on automation and process improvements.
  • Create a sales operations plan to align services with the customer journey.
  • Maintain and optimize invoicing, pricing, and customer terms.
  • Own ERP/CRM sales administration and ensure the sales team maintains accurate customer data.
  • Simplify workflows and communication through our ERP/CRM system.
  • Develop a sales technology stack, including tools and workflows, to support the Group sales strategy.
  • Ensure the sales process evolves to meet the growing needs of the business.

Are you who we’re looking for?

  • You have a business degree or relevant equivalent qualification
  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in business analytics or managing ERP/CRM systems
  • You have experience in the B2B sector
  • You are strongly analytical skills and may have a background in finance or be a qualified/part-qualified accountant
  • You are comfortable splitting your workflow between Sales planning and data analysis
