Position Overview: As a Relief Chef at HRC recruitment, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities:
• Execute and oversee the preparation of dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in all aspects of food production.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for culinary offerings.
• Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimising wastage.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into daily operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a high-end kitchen.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
