Embark on a rewarding leadership journey as a Registered Manager, overseeing the organisation, management, and enhancement of services. In this role, you'll ensure the provision of appropriate support tailored to individuals' needs, meeting established standards set by service users, families, and the Care Inspectorate.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day Management:

  • Assess individuals and ensure resource availability.
  • Oversee support plans and staffing rosters.
  • Lead recruitment and manage administrative tasks.

Overall Management:

  • Ensure policies meet legal standards.
  • Supervise staff, monitor performance.
  • Support staff registration and development.

Quality Assurance:

  • Facilitate stakeholder input and compliance.
  • Monitor staff qualifications and service budget.

Health and Safety:

  • Identify and assess risks, ensure staff readiness.

Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Development:

  • Support staff and conduct regular audits.
  • Ensure timely registration with relevant bodies.

Requirements:

  • Able to be registered with the SSSC with qualifications in Practice - SVQ in Social Services & Healthcare SCQF Level 9 and Management – certificated at or above SCQF Level 9
  • SVQ level 4
  • Previous management experience
  • A confidence in decision making and multi-tasking
  • An understanding of complex care needs
  • Experience coordinating several teams
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • UK drivers’ licence
  • A passion for providing person centred care
