Registered Care Manager (Part time)
This role would manage a service that supports 3 services users around Ayrshire who receive 24 hour care.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located across Ayrshire with an office based in Ayr for a Registered Care Manager. The Registered Care Manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality of care offered to clients and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care service. The Registered Care Manager will also be responsible for developing and overseeing staff training, maintaining accurate records ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing leadership and support to the care teams.
What we are looking for
- SVQ Level 4 Care Services Leadership and Management
- SVQ 3 Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent
- Direct experience in supporting individuals with complex support needs
- Demonstrated experience in managing care services, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Experience in managing budgets and planning resources.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Experience in writing and implementing policies and procedures including risk assessments.
- Ability to work under pressure and cope with conflicting demands and priorities, and manage time effectively
Hours
- Management hours will be 20 hours per week.
- Shift cover will be required when staff illness or shortage is ongoing, shifts are 24 hours any day of the week.
