Recruitment Consultant

HRC Recruitment is looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Manufacturing & Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
 
You’ll be joining a thriving team, working alongside experienced and dedicated recruiters who are embedded in and knowledgeable about their market.
 
What you’ll be doing:
 
  • Meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and client meetings
  • Leveraging relationships with existing clients to secure new job openings and expand revenue streams.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Proactively sourcing high-quality candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, internal databases, and other recruiting tools.
  • Reviewing CV’s, conducting initial phone screens, and managing candidate interviews to assess skill sets, cultural fit, and alignment with client needs. Guiding candidates through the recruitment process, from initial contact through to placement, including interview preparation, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Conducting in-depth research into client companies, their competitors, and industry trends to better understand recruitment needs and hiring challenges.
  • Staying informed on evolving market conditions that impact recruitment, including technological advancements, economic factors, and regulatory changes.
  • Achieving, tracking and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as placements, interview-to-hire ratios, and candidate retention rates.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required
