Project Engineer – Elgin Based in Scottish Highlands – Relocation Opportunity!

What does the day to day look like?

  • Working and collaborating on engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to implement process improvements and innovations.
  • Designing, specifying, and sourcing equipment and materials for new and existing processes.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance
  • Travel to surrounding distilleries when needed for specific projects.


Are you who we’re looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a project engineer in a drink’s environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
  • Passion for whisky and understanding of the distillation process is a plus.
