Project Engineer – Elgin Based in Scottish Highlands – Relocation Opportunity!

What does the day to day look like?
- Working and collaborating on engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to implement process improvements and innovations.
- Designing, specifying, and sourcing equipment and materials for new and existing processes.
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance
- Travel to surrounding distilleries when needed for specific projects.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a project engineer in a drink’s environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Passion for whisky and understanding of the distillation process is a plus.
