We are looking for a talented individual who meets the following criteria:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the food and drink manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
What does the day to day look like?
As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely production.
- Managing and developing a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitoring production metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as quality control, supply chain, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Managing budgets and resources to optimise production costs.
