As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join the team in Glasgow.

Position Overview: As a Procurement Manager at you will play a crucial role in driving our procurement strategy, ensuring the efficient sourcing and management of goods and services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimise costs and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and establish contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a plus.
