People Operations Change Assistant - Glasgow - Salary £23K-£26K DOE

The Role 

The People Operations (HR) Change Assistant is responsible for supporting the TUPE and Change Specialist with ongoing commercial TUPE and Change projects. This role is focused on ensuring all relevant TUPE and Change activity is planned and executed smoothly, whilst supporting employee needs throughout times of change. This successful role holder will communicate with key stakeholders across the business, as well as external clients and suppliers (when required), upholding a professional image as an expert in TUPE and Change. 

This is a collaborative role. with a focus on teamwork to ensure success, working with key departments across the business including the HR team, Operations, Recruitment, Payroll and others. The People Operations Change Assistant will play a critical role in the overall process and the individual must be flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, work to tight deadlines and prioritise as needed. 

What Does the Day to Day Look Like? 

  • Responsible for coordination of all TUPE and change programmes throughout the UK
  • Work with key stakeholders across core departments to understand the programme requirements and organise the resources required to deliver any TUPE or Change programme 
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure support and resources are in place for relevant activities 
  • Providing support in all aspects of TUPE & Change to project participants and stakeholders, ensuring legal requirements are met 
  • Supporting the TUPE & Change Specialist; identifying risks to employee engagement, attrition, commercial impacts
  • Build and develop positive relationships with both internal and external departments 
  • Aim to continuously improve processes and approaches to ensure a high standard of employee experience
  • Work with the Business Development and Client Solutions teams to develop engaging materials to secure new business where themes of TUPE and Change may be relevant
  • Track and maintain key statistics and information relating to TUPE and Change activity

Are you Who We Are Looking For? 

  • Experience working in a TUPE-focused environment
  • 1 year of recent HR experience - Ideally working in a TUPE role
  • Interest in pursuing a career in HR 
  • GSCE or eqiv. in Maths and English 
  • Candidates currently working towards or who have CIPD/CPP accreditation would be desirable 
  • Interest in pursuing a career in HR
  • Able to communicate and work with stakeholders at all levels of the business 
  • Comprehensive computer skills 
  • Team Player

 

This role will require checks for the successful candidate 

Work from Home role with occasional site travel/presence required 

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
