Operations Manager | Glasgow | Competitive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing manufacturing organisation supporting high-profile customers across global markets.
You will be responsible for leading production operations, managing teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and delivering work safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production teams and shop-floor activities.
- Plan and manage production to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales and Operations.
- Manage production documentation and traceability.
- Support training, development and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve production issues effectively.
- Drive a positive, high-performance team culture.
About You
- Proven experience managing people within a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Confident taking ownership and making decisions.
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
