Are you looking to take the next step in your quality career? I’m currently working with a leading manufacturing business that is looking to add a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to their growing team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a well-established organisation, supporting the QA function and playing a key part in maintaining high standards across the business.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance, you’ll support the QA team in managing and improving quality management systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. You’ll assist with audits, inspections, and data analysis while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update documentation for the quality and environmental management system.
- Support internal and external audits, including audit schedules, reports, and follow-ups.
- Carry out inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Collect and analyse quality data, producing reports for the QA team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality initiatives.
- Provide clear communication to management, suppliers, and customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have experience facilitating audits (internal or external).
- Must have hands-on experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards.
- Will ideally have experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with QA systems
- Problem-solving ability with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong sense of ethics and commitment to high standards of quality and compliance.
