We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our client’s Finance Team and support all aspects of Financial and Management Accounting in line with processes, timetables and company policies. The successful candidate will assist and support the Finance Team with budgeting and forecasting, preparing end of month and other financial reports, and taking lead for key finance tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of finance systems, as well as experience in preparing accounts and implementing financial controls. They should also have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. They must also be committed to providing exceptional customer service. This is the perfect first step for someone who is recently qualified and looking to move from practice to industry.
The key responsibilities of the role will include: budgeting and forecasting; preparation of financial and management accounts; group management accounts; cash forecasting; financial analysis; project management and financial reviews, audits and risk management; input into the annual budget and business plan; financial control initiating and developing new finance systems; training and support of finance administrators and other team members.
Requirements:
• Qualified (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
• Knowledge of finance systems and processes
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing the best customer relationships
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• A sense of humour!
