Maintenance Engineer - Paisley - Competitive salary

You have previously worked in a high-volume environment where you have proven yourself to be a positive influence on a team – communicating clearly and calmly when it comes to deadlines or issues.
In this role, you’ll be based in Linwood, with some ad hoc back-shift and/or weekend work required.
You are …
- Someone who understands the legislation and critical requirements including PUWER and LOLER
- Qualified with a mechanical bias (with electrical engineering competency)
- Proactive when it comes to identifying potential issues – you have strong problem-solving skills
- Someone who likes to be hands-on in an Engineering role
- Able to recommend changes in training, working practices, and processes that will improve the business
- Keen to participate in the purchasing process for equipment and subcontractors
- A thorough record keeper – clear, informative reporting is second nature to you
- Keen to assist in the further development of our PPM to improve plant availability and productivity
- Able to work effectively with operations to coordinate maintenance and operational needs without compromising process efficiency/performance

- An annual salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience
