Legal Executive Assistant - Edinburgh - Salary £30,000 p/a

We are eager to speak to experienced Legal Personal Assistants who are looking for a new challenge in Edinburgh. For this role you will ideally have experience within the Legal sector, or have an established track record as a PA in previous roles. You will be proactive and comprehensive, providing excellent service to partners and fee-earners day in and day out. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established firm based in the heart of Edinburgh!


This is a full-time, permanent role working core business hours, Monday - Friday. The salary for this position is DOE. 


Are you who we are looking for?

  • You are an experienced PA within the legal sector 
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You have strong time and diary management 
  • You are able to work to your own initiative and manage workload daily 
  • You have strong attention to detail 
  • You are able to work to set deadlines and remain calm under pressure 
  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Packages and legal systems
  • You enjoy building strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
  • You are flexible and able to work on various projects 


What is the day to day like?

  • Managing diaries, ensuring these are kept up to date and include all meeting and absence information
  • Arranging internal and external meetings, booking rooms and sorting equipment when required
  • Keeping partners advised of upcoming activities
  • Arranging travel requirements, and managing diaries effectively 
  • Producing various reports  and sending various communication out to the wider business when required 
  • Handling inbound calls and actioning appropriately as well as taking messages and passing on in a timely manner 
  • Monitoring post and emails when required, ensuring client correspondence is directed to appropriate contacts
  • Assisting with any finance matters including billing and cashroom 
  • Ensuring all out-going ail are ready for collection, ensuring documents are signed and sealed 
  • Completing all CMI and AML processes for their teams
  • Assisting fee-earners in organising business development and marketing activities where required
