An exciting opportunity has arisen with our global client based in Kilmarnock. Are you an agency recruiter who would like to move to an internal role or currently working as an internal recruiter but want more scope and development? This could be the role for you! We are looking for an experienced recruiter who has handled volume recruitment as well as more specific appointments which require a specialised search approach.

You will be responsible for both the direct recruitment process, as well as partnering with external agencies to ensure the most effective and efficient talent acquisition is achieved. You'll ensure a smooth end-to-end experience for candidates (internal and external) and hiring managers with exceptional attention to detail, organisation and efficiency.

You will work on a variety of recruitment activities and projects, including branding and marketing and building relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders.

This role is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract with the view to be made permanent. Hybrid working after 1 month, 2 days at home 3 in the office.

Day to Day of the role:

· Prepare job adverts to attract top talent via various sources

· Shortlist candidates based on specific criteria and screen candidates to identify the best fit for positions

· Update and maintain our recruiting system and files, in line with GDPR

· Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing them with a positive and supportive experience

· Collaborate with hiring managers and other colleagues, assisting them in optimising the recruitment process

· Coordinate and arrange interviews/assessments for candidates

· Generate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process, including timely completion of the background screening process in line with policy requirements via a 3rd party vendor and internal training dates

· Arrange and participate in career fairs and recruitment events, networking and partnering with local agencies

· Delivery against recruitment plans ensuring robust selection and attraction processes

· Responsible for employee data and documentation during recruitment and onboarding, including terms and conditions of employment, right to work, background checking, staff files and HR system processes

Experience we are looking for:

· Experience of recruiting within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

· Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices

· HR Operations experience, including understanding of HR Risk and Governance with respect to recruitment operations (contracts, employee data, background screening etc.)

· Experience working in partnership and collaboration; building relationships and being able to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and partners at all levels

· Delivery-focused with a passion for providing excellent service to stakeholders, colleagues and candidates at all levels

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HR information systems, preferably Workday
