Our client, leading global law firm is seeking an experienced solicitor to join its highly regarded insurance litigation team in Glasgow. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a top-tier firm renowned for its expertise in the insurance sector and its commitment to career development.
You will join a busy and dynamic team acting on behalf of major insurers and corporate clients in a broad range of defender litigation matters. The caseload will include complex and high-value claims, offering exposure to varied and stimulating work.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of defender insurance litigation matters
- Handling claims across areas such as personal injury, property damage, and liability disputes
- Providing strategic advice to insurer clients
- Drafting legal documentation and conducting negotiations
- Representing clients in court where appropriate
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
The firm is keen to hear from candidates who:
- Are Scottish qualified solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in defender litigation
- Have strong technical expertise in insurance-related matters
- Demonstrate excellent communication and client management skills
- Are commercially aware and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Are motivated to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team
