HR Administrator - Temp - Glasgow - £16.11 PH 

Are you a strong, good grounded HR Administrator and immediately available/soon to be coming out of contract? 

A leading manufacturing business is looking for a Temporary HR Administrator to join the team on a rolling week-to-week basis, this is a temporary contract initially and will roll into the end of the year. The client is looking for an experienced Administrator, who can work in a fast-paced environment, experience with Workday is desirable. 

The Role 

General Administration Responsibilities

  • To be able to provide information and assistance on all aspects of HR Administration
  • Accurately process employee changes (starters, leavers, contractual changes, etc) through Workday in time for payroll cut-off and other key dates.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with ad hoc project and reporting requests
  • Process various items of correspondence

Specific Administration Responsibilities

  • Support HR Business Partners within the Manufacturing function of the business
  • Update Workday HRIS with monthly starters, leavers and contractual changes
  • Update Time & Attendance system with starters, leavers, changes and holiday entitlements
  • New start onboarding/inductions
  • Advise employees on all matters relating to holiday entitlement and administration
  • Absence management
  • Maternity administration
  • Monthly reporting
  • Benefits administration
  • Any other ad hoc duties

The Individual

  • Administration experience preferably within a Human Resources environment.
  • Knowledge of Workday, Peoplesoft and an HR Time & Attendance system would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and union environment would be desirable.
  • Must have strong experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Effective communicator and Team Player.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and integrity.

AOB

  • 37 hours per week (Earlier finish on a Friday)
  • Hourly Pay Rate: £16.11
  • Driving License required - Site travel 
  • Hybrid Working
