HGV/Trailer Mechanic – Lanarkshire – Up to £40K

Are you who we’re looking for?
- Must be a time served technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications and experience in trailer repairs
- Welding experience is preferable but not essential
- Double deck maintenance experience - preferable
- High level of enthusiasm and good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to complete relevant written documentation
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Initiative to work autonomously if required
What does the day to day look like?
- Inspecting, servicing, and repairing trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and mandatory EHS legislation
- Ensuring all compliance details are completed accurately and timely
- Undertaking all required training as deemed necessary by the company
- Providing high customer service levels while working to specified deadlines
- Always adhering to the company’s health & safety policies and procedures
