Position:  Graduate Recruitment Coordinator

 

Location:  Glasgow (Hybrid Working Available)

 

Salary:  £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, DOE

 

This is a unique role, and an exciting opportunity to join a global brand, and take full ownership for a global graduate recruitment offering!

 

Working with stakeholders across the world, this role will be diverse and offer lots of variety as well as autonomy and accountability.

As the Global Graduate Development Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Global Graduate Development Plan. Collaborating closely with key Group HR colleagues and business leaders across Group, you will ensure alignment with the strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. End-to-End Program Management:
    • Lead the entire lifecycle of the GGDP, from design to development, in close consultation with Senior Leaders.
    • Oversee program phases, including design, promotion, recruitment, assessment, induction, and ongoing development.
  2. Benchmarking and Continuous Improvement:
    • Regularly benchmark the GGDP against external best practices and incorporate relevant features identified from these comparisons.
    • Drive continuous improvement by staying informed about industry trends and adapting the program accordingly.
  3. Strategic Design:
    • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to design the program’s overall structure, duration, and assignment scope across various business units and locations.
    • Work in conjunction with HR, Senior Leaders, and People plans to develop a comprehensive strategy.
  4. Effective Promotion:
    • Develop and implement a robust promotional model to raise awareness of the GGDP globally.
    • Engage with universities, participate in career fairs and events, and optimize our program’s online presence through our website and social media channels.
  5. Efficient Recruitment:
    • Partner with the Global Recruitment Team to manage all applications.
    • Coordinate telephone interviews, psychometric testing, and provide timely feedback to candidates.
  6. Assessment Excellence:
    • Oversee the design and implementation of virtual and/or face-to-face assessment processes.
    • Ensure seamless coordination of joining instructions and logistical arrangements for invited candidates and assessors.
  7. Smooth Induction:
    • Design and execute the face-to-face induction program.
    • Manage all logistical arrangements for successful onboarding.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a recruitment environment, either internal or agency, and you ideally will have had international experience gained in this space.  You will have solid Project Management experience, be able to build very strong relationships and also have exceptional communication skills, as working across cultures and language barriers is a huge part of this role.
