The Role

We are currently seeking a German-speaking Complaints Handler to join our Customer Experience team. In this role, you will manage and resolve customer complaints from German-speaking markets, ensuring all cases are handled fairly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in German and English, via phone, email, and written correspondence.

  • Investigate complaints thoroughly, gathering all relevant information and documentation.

  • Provide clear, fair, and timely responses in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records.

  • Identify trends and root causes to help improve processes and customer outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure effective complaint resolution.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken) – essential.

  • Previous experience in complaints handling, customer service, insurance, or financial services is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

  • A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to dealing with sensitive situations.

  • Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory complaint handling standards is an advantage.
