Engineer Technician - [Paisley]
A leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, employing personnel across multiple locations in the UK. With sustainability at the forefront, the company recovers a range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for re-use in manufacturing and energy conversion, as well as providing waste-water services.
An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer Technician to join the team assisting the Maintenance Engineer with daily site maintenance activities. This is a Monday to Friday role, with some overtime and weekend work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
- Coordinate with operations team for maintenance needs
- Prioritize process activities and throughput
- Assist contractors with maintenance activities
- Work with process engineer to develop best practices and procedures
- Promote a culture of proactive health and safety
Requirements:
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Detail-oriented and conscientious approach
- Problem-solving skills for proactive and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good time management skills
- Flexibility for working hours to maintain site operations
- Valid driving license
- Experience in basic routine maintenance
- Experience with transfer pumps & pipe fitting (preferred)

- Hands-on role requiring manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 15kg
