Our client is seeking an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in Glasgow.

The role offers significant exposure to Employment Tribunal work, making it particularly attractive for lawyers who enjoy advocacy and appearing regularly before the Tribunal. Working as part of a collaborative and successful Employment team, you will advise employer clients across a range of sectors on the full spectrum of employment law issues.
The position will involve a mix of contentious and non-contentious work, including:
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to final hearing.
- Regular advocacy and appearance work before the Employment Tribunal.
- Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and workplace investigations.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures.
- Providing strategic advice on redundancy, restructuring and TUPE matters.
- Advising on settlement agreements and employment-related exits.
- Supporting clients with complex and sensitive employee relations issues.
- Delivering training and updates to clients on employment law developments.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and strengthening existing client relationships.
Applicants will ideally be at the senior solicitor, associate or senior associate level, must have at least 3 years PQE and must have a solid background in employment law. You will have strong Employment Tribunal experience, including conducting hearings and managing litigation, as well as excellent technical knowledge across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
