Role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing site based in Stirlingshire. This role is ideal for a motivated and safety-focused electrical professional looking to develop their leadership skills and contribute to a high-performing engineering team.
About the Role
You will support the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities across your assigned area, ensuring equipment reliability, operational integrity, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Working closely with Maintenance Supervisors, you will guide the teams, assist apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You may also be required to lead contractor labour and support planned and reactive maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support safe working practices, maintaining high safety and environmental standards
- Execute planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring asset availability
- Use and improve maintenance systems, including CMMS and PPM processes
- Support defect elimination, planned shutdowns, and performance improvement activity
- Ensure team members are trained, equipped and compliant with procedures
- Contribute to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- HNC in an electrical discipline
- Completed recognised 4-year electrical apprenticeship
- Minimum 4 years’ industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical capability with a solid understanding of legislation and standards
- Competence with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens S5/S7) and control/drive systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
