Draughtsperson
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering company based in Glasgow and are looking to recruit an experienced Draughtsperson to join their growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
As a Draughtsperson, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and supporting the engineering team from concept through to manufacture and installation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings for engineering projects
- Preparing fabrication and assembly drawings
- Working closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams
- Updating and revising drawings as required
- Ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in a draughting role within an engineering environment
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience within [mechanical / structural / civil / building services – adjust as required] engineering would be advantageous
