Document Production Team Leader - Edinburgh - Salary £ DOE

We are looking to speak to experienced legal document production specialists, who have team leader or supervisory experience and who are looking for a new, exciting opportunity with a leading firm in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Office Services team, who provide support and service across the whole business. Working alongside the Secretarial Manager, you will be working to support the wider document production team daily, managing workflow and promoting the teams services across the wider business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading business in Edinburgh! 


This is a full-time, permanent role, working core hours Monday - Friday, and will be fully office based in their Edinburgh HQ. Salary for this role is DOE, and will be discussed further! 


Are you who we are looking for? 

  • You have previous team leader or supervisory experience within a professional services environment (essential)
  • You have document production experience within a legal environment 
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and other software 
  • You have excellent typing, dictation and secretarial skills 
  • You are a confident communicator both written and orally 
  • You are well organised and able to work on your own initiative as well as prioritising your workload
  • You are flexible and dependable 
  • You can multi-task and manage expectations at all levels 
  • You can build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally 


What is the day to day like? 

  • Managing the workflow of the Document Production team and supporting the secretarial manager daily 
  • Establishing and maintaining close communications with the Secretarial Manager daily, seeking guidance and updates when required 
  • Liaising with internal clients when necessary, as well as promoting the document production service to teams across the business 
  • Collating team statistics and discussing further
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline current working procedures across the team as well as improving framework 
  • Creating, formatting and updating a range of complex documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations for key teams and stakeholders
  • Transcribing all audio files 
  • Converting documents into house-styles; using branded templates and styles 
  • Using track changes and other software to produce comparison documents as required 
  • Converting PDF documents 
  • Troubleshooting any problem documents 
  • Proof-reading and quality checking all documents
