HR Consultancy have been retained by this respected commercial insurer in Glasgow to support the appointment of a Commercial Development Underwriter to their team on a full-time permanent basis. The firm are recognised as a leading provider of commercial lines insurance business across the UK market with a diverse product range and suite of services.
Due to continued success and expansion they are adding to the team to meet the ongoing plans for growth across the Scottish region. In this varied and challenging role you will be responsible for the ongoing development of casualty based business across key broker partners whilst negotiating terms with clients within the firm’s underwriting parameters. You will work closely with internal technical teams to monitor all business cases to ensure adherence to the overall underwriting strategy of the division.
