Customer Support Specialist - North Lanarkshire - Permanent - Up to £27,000
Are you experienced in Customer Service, Export and Logistics and looking for a new opportunity? A well-established FMCG business is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join their team permanently.
Purpose of the Role
To manage customer orders, shipments and associated commercial activities in line with business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders, including stock management ensuring despatch dates
- Liaising with hauliers, freight forwarders and warehouses regarding customer order despatch dates
- Effective stock management
- Data maintenance relating to customer files, pricing and promotional budgets
- Responsible for processing end-to-end customer complaints
- Ensuring smooth and efficient communication with customers covering all aspects of the business, this includes forecasting, stock depletion rates, marketing and product information
- Organising and ensuring stock availability for customer samples
- Preparation of export documents in line with various government bodies
- Ability to prioritise workload and proactively deal with several customer accounts
Personal Profile
- Proven experience within a Customer Service function, ideally within an export environment
- Previous experience in FMCG business
- Proficient in SAP or other ERP database functions
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Practical and innovative
- Able to work at pace
AOB
- This is an excellent F/T role.
- Monday – Thursday 08.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 12.30pm
- At present this role will follow a hybrid-working model.
