Controls Engineer - Glasgow
Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a leading FMCG environment?
Our client is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their Glasgow-based team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting automation and control systems while getting involved in continuous improvement and new projects.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in Controls Engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems
- An engineering qualification or relevant technical training
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement
What will you be doing?
- Designing, implementing and maintaining control systems across manufacturing processes
- Troubleshooting automation and control system faults
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and reliability
- Supporting continuous improvement and improvement projects
- Identifying and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime
- Contributing to the ongoing development of automation and control systems
- Developing your career with the potential to progress into senior engineering or project management positions
