HRC Recruitment is actively seeking experienced Contract Catering Chefs to work across a variety of client sites in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
What’s on Offer:
- Pay: £16–£18 per hour (site dependent) plus accrued holiday pay
- Weekly pay: Work Monday–Sunday, get paid the following Friday
- Flexible assignments: Covering sickness, holidays, and short-term gaps – hours may vary weekly
- Site variety: Work in different kitchens – some with full teams, others as a lone chef
- Transport: A driving licence and access to a car is desirable, as many sites are not easily accessible by public transport. However, it is not essential
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced chefs – minimum 1 year in a similar contract catering setting at either CDP or Sous Chef level.
- Qualified professionals – with Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen Awareness (refreshers can be provided)
- Prepared and presentable – with your own chef whites or appropriate kitchen attire
- Adaptable team players – comfortable working agency assignments and able to lead a team when needed
