Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a creative approach to menu development, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet the standards of our clients esteemed restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu and standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team on menu planning and specials
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully
- Maintain a clean and kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and bring new ideas to the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in dish presentation
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards during busy periods
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Formal culinary training and relevant certifications are a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
