Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Rate of pay: £12- £14ph + holiday pay
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute culinary dishes to the highest standards, following menu specifications and recipes
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Train, supervise, and motivate junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Maintain impeccable standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Contribute creative ideas and insights to menu development and innovation
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, assisting in stock rotation and ordering as needed
- Take proactive measures to minimise food wastage and optimise kitchen efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
