What will the day-to-day look like?

Client Assignment Management:

  • Assess resource requirements
  • Monitor progress against budget and established timeframes
  • Review work completed by junior team members
  • Resolve project issues proactively before Partner and Director review

Team Leadership:

  • Oversee day-to-day team operations

Client Interaction and Relationship Building:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients alongside the Director and Partner
  • Respond promptly to client requests and anticipate their needs
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of progress

Risk Management and Quality Control:

  • Adhere rigorously to the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures

Knowledge Sharing and Development:

  • Foster knowledge sharing within the team
  • Encourage research and development initiatives

Client Feedback and Sustainable Relationships:

  • Capture and address client feedback effectively
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with clients
  • Take responsibility for delivering solutions to clients whenever possible

Business Opportunities and Innovation:

  • Identify and explore new project and business prospects
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm during marketing events
  • Propose innovative products and services

Employee Management and Development:

  • Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate team members
  • Participate in graduate recruitment processes
  • Set clear objectives and development plans

Collaboration with Management Team:

  • Work collaboratively with other firm managers on resource planning, merit rate meetings, and efficiency improvements

Stay Informed:

  • Keep abreast of technical and commercial developments to ensure the continued delivery of excellent services to clients

 

Are you who we are looking for?

  • CA /ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Experienced managing a client portfolio in an accounting environment
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passionate about delivering a 1st class service and utilising cutting-edge technology
