Assistant Finance Manager 12mth FTC, up to £40,000 - Glasgow City Centre

HRC are delighted to be working with an international, market-leading organisation looking to bring on an Assistant Finance Manager to join a dynamic and varied team. Day-to-day management of a large team will be key in this position.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Managing teams responsible for all aspects of transactional finance ensuring deadlines are met
- Conducting monthly 1:1’s and addressing and delivering any development required
- Implementing and monitoring KPIs
- Ongoing process improvement
- Identifying development areas and communicating these to the department head and senior management team
- Conducting in-depth reporting and liaising with internal stakeholders
- Taking on ad hoc duties as and when required
Are you what we are looking for?
- Experience in managing/overseeing a team in a high-volume finance environment
- An organised, proactive, and personable individual with the ability to resolve issues on an ongoing basis
- A strong understanding of balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Good systems and Excel skills
