Asset Management Analyst
Salary: £25,000 + Annual bonus

My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join their dynamic Asset Management team. This role plays a vital part in maximising recovery from vehicle assets, with a focus on tracking, safeguarding, and liquidating assets while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vehicle recovery and liquidation activities by working with repossession agents, auction houses, trace agents, and solicitors.
- Monitor and investigate external vehicle notifications to ensure asset security.
- Liaise with auction houses to manage inventory, pricing, and vehicle reconditioning.
- Ensure the customer journey remains a priority through clear communication and fair recovery processes.
- Negotiate with third parties by phone to achieve cost-effective recoveries and customer-centric outcomes.
- Review, validate, and process invoices related to recovery activities, ensuring data accuracy for analysis.
- Produce operational performance and cost reports for management.
- Respond to queries regarding vehicle status with detailed explanations and sound judgment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of repossession regulations and recovery best practices.
- Collaborate with internal financial support teams to minimise losses and manage customer shortfalls effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience in a collections or recoveries environment is essential.
- Ideally experience in the motor sector with strong understanding of vehicle valuation methodology.
- Familiarity with FCA regulations, GDPR, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
- Team player with a positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to continuous improvement
