Are you a Plant Operator with experience in Whisky, Biomass or Renewables seeking a new and exciting opportunity in a company pathing the way in its industry? Look no further!

 

You’ll be stepping into a company with innovative and ambitious growth plans, and you’ll play a role where you are expected to contribute to the daily operation and maintenance of the plant

 

What does a day look like?

  • Operating and monitoring AD plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conducting routine inspections, sampling and acting on results of the samples.
  • Conducting routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Monitoring and analysing process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates using SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of plant operations, including production data and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborating with team members to optimise plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in training programs and staying current with advancements in AD technology.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in the whisky, renewable energy or waste management industry.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to AD plant operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
