Job Title: Account Manager – Food and Drink Business

Position Overview: Our client are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their team, covering the Glasgow and Ayrshire regions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding their customer base, ensuring clients receive outstanding service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Provide expert advice on our product range, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to increase market share.
- Conduct regular site visits to customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote product.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in account management, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing your own schedule and priorities.
- Knowledge of the Glasgow and Ayrshire regions is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
