How long have you been with HRC Recruitment?
I have been here for 1 year and 7 months.
What made you want to join?
I actually didn’t know anything about recruitment but I really enjoyed the interview process and everyone seemed really fun so it was reassuring.
What career path did you follow to get to your current role?
I studied HR and Law at university and I got this job straight after graduating.
What was your dream job as a child?
TV Personality (of course!)
How have you found working from home?
I am loving it, gives me more time to exercise, cook a nice plate of pasta for lunch and more time to relax in the evening.
What does a typical day look like?
Switch on the laptop and check for emails/applications, post on LinkedIn and then pick up the phone and start talking to HR candidates and clients.
What’s the best part of your job?
When I manage to place my candidates in their dream job.
Describe the company culture here.
It’s fun and exciting. Everyone loves a wee drink and you can just be yourself and enjoy some great company.
What’s been your biggest success so far?
Getting promoted to Consultant during a pandemic.
When we’re not in the middle of a pandemic, what do you like to do in your free time?
I love going to the gym and keeping fit. Travelling back and forth to Italy to visit my family and enjoying some sunshine. Also, every weekend from September to May I am a basketball referee in the National League in Scotland and in the Women’s British Basketball League.
What is most important to you?
A good work-life balance so I can still take part in my hobbies.
Describe yourself in three words.
Fun, down to earth and Italian (could have said “good-looking Italian”).
