Our Head of Technical, Michelle McLaughlin, has dedicated the past seven years of her recruitment career to the Manufacturing and Engineering market, and heads up our Executive Search offering within the team. Michelle has a strong focus and interest within the FMCG market and endeavours to keep up to date with the latest industry developments.
She has a real passion for continuous improvement projects and will always get to know her clients so that she can truly get to the heart of their business needs and deliver candidates who will make a positive impact. Michelle recruits across Scotland for roles including Managing Director, Site Leader, Operations, Technical Sales and senior positions across Packaging Development. A naturally confident leader, Michelle always encourages her team to go above and beyond for both their clients and candidates.
Joining Michelle is Harjit Singh, our temp specialist within the team. Harjit’s career to date has focused on temporary Engineering roles and here at HRC, he offers recruitment solutions from a junior level to senior appointments, meeting short term and long term temporary recruitment needs. Owing to the nature of the temp market, Harjit is highly skilled at offering effective and efficient service. He is deeply entrenched in the Engineering sector, displaying a real passion for the Residential and Commercial markets, which are often the most buoyant.
In terms of Heavy Manufacturing and Engineering, our consultant Natalie McGeoch covers the market across Scotland; from graduate roles to senior management. Natalie typically recruits for roles within Precision Engineering, Electronic Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace Companies as well as scientific organisations. It can be a challenging market with a lot of competition and a lengthy recruitment process, but Natalie’s dedication and enthusiasm ensure her candidates and clients are never left wanting.
Providing our FMCG focus across the Technical space is Stephanie Devine. Stephanie has been with the business for three years, after discovering a passion for connecting with people and enabling them to achieve their career goals. She recruits for Engineering positions within Manufacturing across Scotland, including roles such as Controls Engineer, Maintenance Planner, Technical Operator and Engineering Manager. Stephanie gains unrivalled market knowledge by planning site visits, to really get to the heart of a company’s culture and recruitment needs.
Diane Smedley also specialises within the FMCG market, providing permanent recruitment solutions in industries such as Food & Drink, Packaging and Pharmaceuticals. Diane has a keen interest in Continuous Improvement roles, and loves getting to hear about the contribution and impact her candidates can have on a business. She typically recruits for roles such as Quality Manager, Health & Safety Advisor, Packaging Technologist and Production Manager. Diane loves the opportunity to attend networking events to really get to grips with any changes in the industry.
