Our Principal Consultant, Meena Bahanda, swapped the bright lights of London, where she worked as a PR Account Director for high profile food and drink brands, for home in Glasgow, where she began her Legal recruitment career fifteen years ago. She has worked for both national and independent recruitment firms in Scotland. Meena’s success, with both clients and candidates alike, is based on her dedication to confidentiality, honesty and integrity in every aspect of the recruitment process.
She has recruited at all levels of the Legal sector; from Paralegals to Partner level in Private Practice, Public Sector and In-House roles, primarily in the UK and the Channel Islands. Meena also recruits within international, magic and silver circle and mid-tier Private Practice and boutique firms. She covers a range of Legal specialisms including IP/IT, Corporate, Banking, Contracts, Litigation, Employment, Family, Commercial, Residential Property and Private Client.
Meena also has a love for networking and attends as many conferences and events as she can throughout the year, in order to keep her finger on the pulse of her market. She was joined here at HRC by Paul Steven in early 2017. Paul is our Director of Executive Legal Search and brings to the company over twenty years’ experience in the market.
He has worked exclusively in the Legal sector throughout his career, both in Scotland and within the rest of the UK. His experience of working with almost all of the top law firms and many of the best niche boutique firms has enabled him to develop and incredibly well-rounded view of the market.
Paul brings this wealth of experience and fantastic network of contacts to strengthen our Executive level resources. He will be recruiting across Scotland for Partner level roles within the Legal sector. He will be head hunting senior lawyers for Private Practice firms in the major cities and beyond. His reputation across Scotland precedes him; Paul is known for his exemplary track record of successfully completed assignments.
