Are you currently working in a role where you are responsible for Trusts and Estates tax and accounts preparation?

We are currently working on an excellent and rare opportunity for someone to join our client on a part-time basis of around 2 days per week.

This role will be joining an interesting and unique firm specialising in succession and inheritance tax planning. You will be working within the private client market and will be experienced in this sector previously.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • Previous experience working in a busy private client office
  • SOLAS qualification would be desirable
  • Be proficient in MS office
  • Understand and be experienced in trusts and estates tax and accounts preparation
  • Be friendly, positive and self-motivated

 

What will the day to day look like?

  • Preparing C1 & C2 along with C5 and IHT400
  • Review, calculate and settle tax liabilities
  • Preparing executry accounts
  • Preparing scheme of division of assets
  • Understand different forms of tax
  • Preparing IHT100
  • Prepare full trust accounts
  • Adhere to AML and Data Protection regulations
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of all practice areas
