Job Title: Small Business Broker
Contract: Permanent
Salary – £22,000 - £29,000 DOE
Location: Hybrid from the Glasgow office
The Brokerage
We are a leading Commercial and Corporate Insurance Brokerage in the Glasgow area. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a small business broker.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the daily insurance requirements for a portfolio of clients who operate within a wide range of sectors and industries.
You’ll handle MTA’s, Renewals and New Business performing open market broking exercises as well as various administrative and client enquiries.
Client reports, cover summaries, checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of your day
You will work in an experienced team of Brokers focused on day to day client contact and client management.
A strong ability to build relationships and work with others is a key requirement of the role.

Required Skills We are looking for someone with;

1-5 years’ experience within Insurance

A good technical or commercial insurance knowledge

A team player who can work in a fast-paced environment

CII qualifications are preferable but not essential

Previous experience of using Acturis preferable but not essential
Duties
- Communicate with clients to understand their investment needs and goals - Research and analyze market trends, financial data, and investment opportunities - Provide advice and recommendations to clients on investment strategies - Execute buy and sell orders on behalf of clients - Monitor and track investment performance and provide regular updates to clients - Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards
