Are you who we’re looking for?
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards (HACCP, BRC).
- Experience with production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage time-sensitive production issues.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
What does the day-to-day look like?
- Manage daily operations of the production floor, ensuring products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Oversee production schedules, adjusting workflow as needed to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines, as well as food safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the quality control, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead, mentor, and train production staff, fostering a positive and results-driven working environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive productivity improvements.
