HR Consultancy are working with this leading legal practice in Edinburgh to assist with the appointment of an Injury Claims Handler to the successful team. The firm are recognised as a respected and established organisation that provide personal injury services to their extensive client portfolio.
Operating within a busy team environment you will be responsible for handling a caseload of RTA based injury claims on behalf of clients. You will be involved in the full claims handling remit from first notification through to settlement including dealing with third parties and analysis of medical reports whilst maintaining a high level of customer services. You will be responsible for negotiating settlements and working in conjunction with in-house litigators for complex cases.
In order to apply you must have experience of dealing with RTA claims within either a legal firm or insurance company. You will have a sound understanding of the full claims handling cycle and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of injury claims processes and legislation. Applicants with experience in EL/PL claims will also be if interest to the firm.
