Manufacturing Engineer / Dundee / £42,000

An exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of fueling and convenience retail solutions as they expand their engineering team in Dundee.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, launching new products, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy efficient manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Work cross-functionally with teams in design engineering, production, and planning
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize work flow and reduce changeover times
  • Create standard work instructions and document processes
  • Lead Kaizen and process improvement projects
  • Support new product introductions and technology implementation
  • Conduct capacity planning for production lines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Office and documentation
