HR Advisor. Glasgow. Salary up to £35,000 DOE
Are you an experienced HR Advisor? Are you looking for an opportunity to work for an industrial-focused business with people at the heart of their culture?
We are eager to speak to HR professionals with strong Advisory experience. This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering an excellent HR service. Working as part of a team to manage employee relations cases and HR focused projects. There are ample opportunities for personal development within this role which will allow the successful candidate to be involved with HR strategy and wider business projects as well as the day-to-day generalist responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing HR advice, guidance and support to managers and company employees
- Coach Line Managers on best practices relating to People Management, Performance and disciplinary matters
- Support recruitment and onboarding life cycle
- Ensure HR practices are in line with company values and legislation
- Develop, review and update HR policies
The Candidate:
This role is suited to a confident, motivated and experienced HR Advisor who enjoys a varied workload. The successful candidate will take ownership and accountability for their role and collaborate well with other colleagues at all levels of the business.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Experience working in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment would be desirable
- Experience working in a multi-site business would be desirable
- Interested in People and Employee Engagement
Key skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor role
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law
- Strong communication skills: Verbal & Written
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changes
- Highly organized and detail-orientated
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

- Hybrid working: 2 days office based. 3 days WFH
- Very occasional travel to different UK sites (Always planned in advance)
- Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
